midnight fireworks. regional rail lines again regular schedule, they typically don't run after midnight but tonight they will. every reg hal line after the midnight fireworks show. chris, back over to you. >> thank you. breaking news for you now cumberland county new jersey authorities are investigating a police involved shooting in bridgeton. this happened around 9:30 last night on south avenue near henry street in bridgeton. skyfox over the scene. at least one person was hurt. no word on their condition right now. we'll keep an eye on. that will meantime 04:00. police involved shoot something also under investigation in delaware county. >> right. man was shot and killed after he tried to run over police, with his car that's according to investigators. fox 29's jennifer joyce is live in upper darby with more on this bizarre story. jen? >> police tell us they were monitoring 51 year old joseph pacini. they pulled his vehicle over, they tell us he got aggressive. tried to use his car as

weapon. the clifton heights police chief was on patrol and made that initial stop. the chief opened the door of pacini's car when pacini put the car in reverse and crashed into the chief's car narrowly missing the chief and other officers around at the time. now, that's according to police. police from three different departments were following patch even even i after he left his clifton heights home 4:15 yesterday afternoon. they wanted to pull him over and is her after warrant on a terroristic threats charge. police say patch even even had i made u tune videos. investigators say he even made one yesterday prior to the shooting. >> it will be serious and irreversible catostrophic con consequences no one wants. >> was shot numerous times numerous shot fired. again, preliminarilly the officers were lucky to escape any injury. he apparently used his vehicle as a weapon, the officers

fired, and fatally struck him. >> police say a swat team was on it way to pacini's home to serve a warrant. he left the house before they arrived. according to reports pacini had a police record. he was arrested in 2005 out of philadelphia, related to terroristic threats. recklessly endangering another person and false imprisonment charges. dawn? >> jennifer, thank you. man behind bars this morning accused of attacking and raping a woman in pennypack park. more than one actually. thirty-eight year old robert pail inch was already in jail in wisconsin when philadelphia police caught up with him years after they started investigating the philadelphia assaults. now, they charge the former philadelphia construction worker in connection with a string of rapes that began back in 2010 in pennypack park. police say that palin lived near the park and followed the same pattern. >> the minute that the victim got into the park with the offender mr. palin and immediate aggressive assault

occurred, where he broughtly beat her, sexually assaulted her. >> good thing they caught him. real good thing. you don't need a preditor like that running around. >> police say they were able to track down palin when serving time for raping a woman in madison wisconsin. his dna was up loaded, and it matched the local attack. >> getting ready for the new year of course philly style. how the mum remembers getting ready for their big day. >> and a big commotion over a bag of macadamia nuts. why former airline executive is under arrest for something she did on a

>> time is 6:10, in edmonton, canada, a man with a lengthy criminal record kills eight people including two children under the age of ten before taking his own life. >> seven of those people found shot to death in one home. police found their bodies monday night a 37 year old woman was found dead in a separate home. shooter allegedly committed suicide nearby. edmonton police chief says the motive for the mass murders appears to be planned and deliberate. >> bad weather hampering search effort for airasia flight 8501, weather preventing divers from retrieving bodies from the java sea. officials say so far seven bodies have been recovered. they're recovering wreckage now so, the task is

freeway, coming in toward philadelphia, working your way into that 295 construction zone there. so already a delay for the gang in south jersey. otherwise, good shape up and down the blue route the schuylkill, no problems at all south on 95 out of the northeast, looking good, an accident on the new jersey turnpike southbound, at exit two, and staying with new jersey, with all of the folks headed up to times square, new jersey transit, a regular weekday schedule, and they have extra service all day up to new york sit, why go up there when you can stay here. we have two, two fireworks shows for you. one at 6:00. another one at midnight. all from penn's landing views on both sides of the river. see a loft activity, a lot of volume up and overall of the area bridges here, especially, around the change-over times. but then if you like to take the kids on train ride to bring them into town. both the market frankford and subway running trains all night long, extra trains after both of the fireworks shows same deal on the regional rail lines, they're running on regular schedule. they typically don't operate after midnight.

square. the stages are also set up. a list stars the police department actually going to be watching hundreds of live camera feeds and bomb squad personnel, from its joint operations center. and plane clothes police officers, are going to be blending in with the crowds as they watch the area. nypd didn't tell us how many police officers will be working this beat tonight. because they like to keep those numbers secret. but, they did tell us, the officers who graduated from the academy just on monday, are going to be hitting the street for the first time, back out here live, as you can see, the times square workers are already cleaning up the streets, ahead of the crowds, we will be out here, in just a little while. and if you have viewers potentially coming to up new york city, one thing to know, these pens, once you're inside them, you can't leave. you will get a bathroom break. so who really knows what's going on when people do have to use the fast till tills.

police in cumberland county open fire shooting one person. the latest on the investigation into what happened. and another police involved shooting there is one in delaware county, upper darby police shoot and kill a suspect who they say was trying to run. police over. this bizarre and disturbing rant posted on line, on youtube, just before the incident. should have some darker skin children. >> a lot of people upset with target over their new ads supposed to be advertising the clothing from the new annie movie, reboot with african-american cast, only there aren't any black children in the ads. how tarring set responding this morning. >> and good day everyone, it is wednesday december 31st

speedometer readings right where they should be, no problems at all on 95, the schuylkill or the blue. it will be another light morning rush hour. but a crash in valley forge park route 23, valley forge right at inter line drive. big fireworks tonight, two shows for you 6:00 and midnight right here along penn's landing so see a lot of activity, a lot of change over once the fireworks are over that first crowd heading home the second crowd coming on in, and septa encourages you to use mass transit for both the broad street subway and the mark frankford line, all night, train service extra trains, added after each of the fireworks shows. and for the gang in the suburbs, coming in to see the shows, fireworks bring the kids, take them for tape ride, regular schedule on regional rail lines typically they don't have service after midnight. but tonight they will. they'll be trains for every line after that 12:00 midnight fireworks so. again, the schuylkill and 95 looking good this morning, and mass transit running with no

delays. chris, dawn, back over to you. >> thank you bob. we have breaking news for you out of cumberland county new jersey. at least one person injured in a police involved shooting last night. this happened around will the 30, south avenue. that's near henry street in bridgeton. skyfox was over that scene. >> another police involved shooting this one in delaware county. >> a plan was shot and killed by police, just hours after he made threats on line. let's bring in jennifer joyce now following this story for us jennifer, good morning to you. >> police say they had their eye on 52 year old joseph pacini yesterday, prior to the shooting they were following behind him in police cruiser. they tried to pull him over, make arrest based on warrant that they had out for him. that is when he apparently got aggressive. he tried to use his vehicle as a weapon against police, clifton height police chief was on patrol and made that initial stop. the chief opened the door of

pacini's car when pacini put the car in reverse and crashed into the chief's car. narrowly missing the police chief and other officers who were around at that time. police from three different departments were following pacini after he left his clifton height home around 4:15 yesterday afternoon. they wanted to pull him over and serve a warrant on a terroristic threats charge. police say pacini had made youtube videos threatening authority. investigators say he even made one yesterday, prior to the shooting. when police have to deal with someone with mental illness, it could be violent it, could be passive. you just don't know. just don't know. the unfortunate thing in this case he's got a vehicle the vehicle was his weapon n my opinion, as texas err bathes whatever the issue may be. officers trained on crisis intervention, but if somebody is using the vehicle as a weapon that casino of eliminates any training that

february. >> hey serious stub here. delaware has seen nearly ten times the flu cases this year compared to this time last year. the delaware division of public health says there have been 632 reported flu cases so far this year. # zero all of last year, almost exactly nine times more cases this year. health officials say the increase reflect flu activity across the country, 36 states in fact already showing high infection rate. >> most people think after flu sick for couple of days and it is over. for many people it is cause for hospitalization, even death. >> so far 15 kids have died from the flu this season along. the virus usually hit the very young and very old the hardest, health officials say the best way to pro tech yourself is wash your hands frequently, get the flu shot. health warning this morning from burlington county. child from middle school in
